Our favourite baby products from bath to bed.
We are both HOT when it comes to bedtime routines. We've pretty much bathed, booked, bed with each of our babies since the first TMC babe number 1 Nelly popped out. Of course where these routines come about so do the products, and when they are good they tend to stick around and be used time and time again. We've put together a few of our favourites for our babies that get us through bath to bedtime.
It's pretty nerve wracking the first time you use any form of bathing skin products on your babes. Their skin is so sensitive but not as sensitive as it is in your head. This we learnt later. Was anyone else scared to death of using any product on their tiny little bodies! It was hard to find a wash that smelt good that didn't have so much perfume in you'd smelt like you'd been in a oxford street perfume bargain brawl. Then we came across Kiehls baby gentle hair and body wash and we haven't looked back. Its light, you only need a pea size so it lasts and it leaves skin and hair feeling so soft. We spend a least 5 minutes post bath just smelling them. There is no better smell than a clean bub!
Our kids love these foam bath shapes from a young age too. Probably because if you pop them in your mouth they feel nice on your teething gums and all young babies pop everything straight in! In our eyes the more they play in the bath and ware themselves out the better!
The softest of softness. We've said it before but if they could make a giant adult version, well we might just never leave our beds. jk- we have to WE HAVE KIDS. But seriously, these sleeping bags are like being wrapped in heaven. Bamboo cotton is a dream. A word of advice is buy two. When you need to wash one, which lets face it you will have to ALOT the next should be out and dry in time to replace! Now tell us how great your babies are smelling like Khiels wrapped in one of these!!! We told you so.
Thank the lord for Jelly Cat. The day they go bust we'll all be in turmoil, in fact they will never go bust because we alone have already bought enough of them to monopolise on Mars! The bunny is a firm favourite although Ted has lost so many he now has a blue elephant. Ronnie has the bunny with the comforter attached which she sucks. VOM. It's worth stocking up on these, if they go missing and you don't realise until bedtime YOU ARE IN TROUBLE. Our advise- get a few and rotate them from birth so you aren't having to sneakily replace sucked bunny with a freshy because trust us THEY KNOW!!!!!!
(Oh and its important to say these are 100% firm faves, with no 'ads').
