My Little Piccolo
This past month our life has been spent up and down the M1 and staying at luxury 5 star spa hotels. I have watched enough rugby I could actually explain some rules in depth and I've got three course meals coming out my ears. Sounds wonderful doesn't it? Well it would be, if I didn't have to bring along my children. But I can't leave them at home or I would be arrested and they may forget what their father looks like, so they get to come too.
Living in hotels and out of a suitcase is always interesting with little ones, no microwave *screammmmsss*, no fridge, no unlimited snacks until you find the one they like that day and room service is like playing a game of roulette, you could be in for a real shitter if you don't get it right. Nell is now three and can be reasoned with about waiting till meal time to eat or understanding that she has to polish off her plate to share my dunking biscuits in bed later on. But Ted is a different matter, he is 1 and a half and the only words he knows to pronounce is 'NO' and 'hot'. Both words learnt from meal times which seems to be 80% of his life. He shovels down food like the planet is about to run out and when Ted's hungry he needs to eat NOW, This child's reasoning is lying on the floor shouting 'No' or 'hot', and 5 star hotels frown upon mums who leave their child screaming on the floor.
This is were My Little Piccolo comes in. Little pouches of 100% organic mediterranean goodness that have all been inspired by homemade recipes. I genuinely ate the apple and apricot one and it was great! Not at all the bland baby food you imagine, this stuff is crammed with flavour. Its colourful, its fun and sooo easy. Every mothers dream. They are currently exclusive to Waitrose which happened to sit opposite the hotel and they have a great range of first tastes to textured recipes. Piccolo has been my absolute lifesaver whilst traveling around. They have certainly lived up to there mission of helping families achieve life in balance. I couldnt recommend them enough. They are great.
...even in the tub.
