Ready made party kits are available too so all need to do is add the children! SOUNDS LIKE HEAVEN! We spoke to the founder, Charlotte to find out a little bit more about the women BEHIND THE BRAND...
MY NAME IS … Charlotte
I LIVE IN… Preston
I FEEL MOST AT HOME… with my two dogs Bailey and Monty. They're beagles so they can be VERY mischievous but they're so much fun.
THINGS THAT KEEP ME AWAKE AT NIGHT… I try to switch off before going to bed because once I start thinking about something I'll be thinking about it all night. I always have a massive list of things I need to do for Party Kitsch so it's usually something to do with that.
I WANTED TO BE WHEN I GREW UP… I always enjoyed art when I was younger so it would have been something along those lines - I liked the idea of being an interior designer and I still love looking at anything to do with interiors now.
THIS KEEPS ME SANE... I always have to carry a big bottle of water with me. I can really feel the effects if I don't drink enough so this definitely keeps me feeling sane throughout the day.
MY FIRST STEPS TAKEN TO START MY BRAND WHERE… once I had the idea, I started looking into what help was available in setting up a small business. I registered with the start up loans company which is a government backed scheme designed to help get your business off the ground. It's really worth signing up to as you can get free business advice, low interests loans and a business mentor. Some people are also eligible for free grants and your mentor is always on hand when you need them.
I COULD NOT LIVE WITHOUT (PHYSICAL OBJECT)... my benefit eyebrow kit. I feel bald without my eyebrows!
THIS INSPIRED ME TO START MY OWN BRAND... it gave me the boost I needed to get my idea off the ground. I think I worried at first about whether or not I had a strong enough brand image and i compared myself to people who had been doing it for years but I think that this is something that develops over time and you soon get an idea of what you want from your business and brand!
MY BIGGEST RISK... was setting up Party Kitsch. I was looking for a new job when my dad had the idea of setting up my own website and I'm so glad I did. I love searching for new products and working with other brands and bloggers.
MY BIGGEST ACCOMPLISHMENT...having my website featured in Vogue!!
